Kodi is a free, open-source media center that runs on Windows, Mac, Linux, Android, Fire TV, Xbox and more. Using its official PVR IPTV Simple Client add-on, Kodi becomes a full live-TV app with a channel list and TV guide.
What you need
- Kodi installed from the official site or your device's app store
- Your M3U playlist link (and an EPG/XMLTV link if we sent one)
Step 1: Install PVR IPTV Simple Client
- Open Kodi → Add-ons.
- Choose Install from repository → Kodi Add-on repository → PVR clients.
- Select PVR IPTV Simple Client → Install.

Step 2: Add your playlist
- Go to Add-ons → My add-ons → PVR clients → PVR IPTV Simple Client → Configure.
- Under General, set Location to Remote path (Internet address).
- Paste your link into M3U play list URL.
- Under EPG settings, set the XMLTV URL if you have one.
- Click OK and enable the add-on.
Step 3: Watch Live TV
Return to the Kodi home screen. A TV section appears with Channels and Guide. The first load can take a few minutes with large lists.
Performance tips
- Hide groups you don't watch via the add-on's channel group settings.
- Set the EPG to update less frequently on low-power devices.
- Restart Kodi after changing settings so they take effect.
