1 month – if you're testing
Pick one month if you want to see how the service runs on your own TV and internet before committing. You pay a little more per month, but you're not locked in.
3 or 6 months – the middle ground

12 months – the best value

Standard 4K vs Premium 8K: what's the difference?
These are plan tiers, not a promise that every single channel is broadcast in 4K or 8K. Picture quality always depends on the original source, your device and your internet speed. In practice:
- Standard 4K suits most homes with a regular HD or 4K TV.
- Premium 8K is for people who want the highest-quality option available and have a fast, stable connection and a high-end TV.

What internet speed do you need?
As a rough guide, HD streaming is comfortable on 10–15 Mbps, and 4K is more reliable at 25 Mbps or more per screen. If several people in your home stream at the same time, add their usage together. You can check your real speed with Speedtest or Fast.com, and compare it with the FCC's broadband speed guide. A wired Ethernet connection or a strong 5 GHz Wi-Fi signal makes a big difference to buffering—often more than raw speed does.
