MAG boxes, made by Infomir, are dedicated IPTV set-top boxes. Instead of a username and password, they connect using a portal URL and your box's MAC address. If you like a simple, cable-box style remote and menu, a MAG box is a great choice.
How MAG activation works
- Every MAG box has a unique MAC address printed on a sticker underneath (it starts with
00:1A:79). - You send us that MAC address when you order.
- We activate your subscription on that MAC and send you a portal URL.
- You enter the portal URL in the box's settings.
Step-by-step: add the portal
- Turn on the box and wait for the main menu.
- Open Settings (on some models: System settings).
- Choose Servers → Portals.
- In Portal 1 name, type anything (e.g., "Prime").
- In Portal 1 URL, enter the portal URL exactly as sent, including
http://and any trailing/c/. - Save with OK, go back, and choose Restart portal (or reboot the box).
The box loads the portal and shows Live TV, Video Club (movies) and Series sections.
Common MAG errors

MAG vs a streaming stick
